Sylvia Olison, FNP-C

Sylvia Olison is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. A native of Oakland, California, Sylvia began her nursing career by earning an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Pacific Union College in 2017. She furthered her education with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Touro University California in 2019 and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Informatics from West Coast University in 2020. In 2024, she obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Touro University California.

Throughout her career, Sylvia has worked in various clinical environments, including a Level One Pediatric Trauma ER, pediatric clinics, medical units, and urgent care. She spent six years as an Emergency Department nurse at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, gaining invaluable experience in pediatric trauma care.

Motivated by a passion to make a meaningful difference, Sylvia decided to focus her practice on pain management. Having witnessed firsthand the profound impact chronic pain can have on individuals’ lives, she is dedicated to helping patients regain their quality of life. She has joined  Spine & Nerve Diagnostic Center to provide compassionate care and support, offering education and personalized treatment options for those living with chronic pain. Sylvia finds immense satisfaction in working alongside her patients to empower them and help them manage their conditions.

Outside of work, Sylvia enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends, valuing the moments that bring balance to her life.
